Memories from Pam - Sister

Created by Colin 3 years ago
The first time I met my brother Chris
was when my husband and myself was walking up Dover Street in Ryde. We had made the trip over to the Isle of Wight so that I could meet my mother and brothers after 52 years. Yes I had found my mother and three brothers. To say that I was nervous is an understatement before we even reached the Dorset my husband said "that's your brother" and that was the back view of Chris, sweeping the forecourt. On Chris turning around there was no doubt that we were brother and sister. On numerous occasions Graham has said that I remind him of Chris as we have the same lips. Make of that what you like. I feel very grateful and proud that Chris accepted me and I am sad that we didn't grow up together, although I probably would have been a right bossy big sister, but I am sure that really we would have been good friends and partners in crime. Perhaps I could have helped him when he had to take over the role of head of the house, when our father passed away.
You you did a really good job Chris. Life at times can be so
cruel and Chris really didn't want to go but the lord said "enough no more, it is time for you to be at peace" We will miss you Chris but you will always be in our hearts with love and every time my husband kisses me he were think of my brother Christopher.
God
bless you Chris
